כִּֽי־חִנָּ֣ם טָֽמְנוּ־לִ֭י שַׁ֣חַת רִשְׁתָּ֑ם חִ֝נָּ֗ם חָפְר֥וּ לְנַפְשִֽׁי
Ki-chinnom tomenu-li shachas rishtom chinnom choferu lenafshi
For without cause they have hidden for me a pit; their net without cause they have laid for my soul.
תְּבוֹאֵ֣הוּ שׁוֹאָה֮ לֹֽא־יֵ֫דָ֥ע וְרִשְׁתּ֣וֹ אֲשֶׁר־טָמַ֣ן תִּלְכְּד֑וֹ בְּ֝שׁוֹאָ֗ה יִפׇּל־בָּֽהּ
Tevo'eihu sho'oh lo-yeido verishto asher-toman tilkedo besho'oh yippol-boh
Let destruction come upon him unawares; let the net he hid catch himself; let him fall into it in desolation.
כׇּ֥ל־עַצְמוֹתַ֨י ׀ תֹּאמַרְנָה֮ יְהֹוָ֗ה מִ֥י כָ֫מ֥וֹךָ מַצִּ֣יל עָ֭נִי מֵחָזָ֣ק מִמֶּ֑נּוּ וְעָנִ֥י וְ֝אֶבְי֗וֹן מִגֹּֽזְלֽוֹ
Kol-atzmosai tomarnoh adonai mi chomocho matzil oni meichozok mimmennu ve'oni ve'evyon miggozelo
All my bones shall say, “LORD, who is like You? You save the poor from one stronger than he, the poor and needy from one who robs him.”
יְ֭קוּמוּן עֵדֵ֣י חָמָ֑ס אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יָ֝דַ֗עְתִּי יִשְׁאָלֽוּנִי
Yekumun eidei chomos asher lo-yoda'ti yish'oluni
Malicious witnesses appear, they question me about things I do not know.
יְשַׁלְּמ֣וּנִי רָ֭עָה תַּ֥חַת טוֹבָ֗ה שְׁכ֣וֹל לְנַפְשִֽׁי
Yeshallemuni ro'oh tachas tovoh shechol lenafshi
They repay me evil for good, [to] the sorrow of my soul.
וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ בַּחֲלוֹתָ֡ם לְב֬וּשִׁי שָׂ֗ק עִנֵּ֣יתִי בַצּ֣וֹם נַפְשִׁ֑י וּ֝תְפִלָּתִ֗י עַל־חֵיקִ֥י תָשֽׁוּב
Va'ani bachalosom levushi sok inneisi vatzom nafshi usefillosi al-cheiki soshuv
But, as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth; I afflicted myself with fasting, and may my prayer return upon my bosom.
