Mizmor 032

לְדָוִ֗ד מַ֫שְׂכִּ֥יל אַשְׁרֵ֥י נְֽשׂוּי־פֶּ֗שַׁע כְּס֣וּי חֲטָאָֽה

Ledovid maskil ashrei nesui-pesha kesui chato'oh

By David, a maskil. Praiseworthy is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is concealed.

Mizmor 032, Verse 002

אַ֥שְֽׁרֵי אָדָ֗ם לֹ֤א יַחְשֹׁ֬ב יְהֹוָ֣ה ל֣וֹ עָוֺ֑ן וְאֵ֖ין בְּרוּח֣וֹ רְמִיָּֽה

Ashrei odom lo yachshov adonai lo ovon ve'ein berucho remiyyoh

Happy is the man to whom the LORD ascribes no iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit.

Mizmor 032, Verse 003

כִּֽי־הֶ֭חֱרַשְׁתִּי בָּל֣וּ עֲצָמָ֑י בְּ֝שַׁאֲגָתִ֗י כׇּל־הַיּֽוֹם

Ki-hecherashti bolu atzomai besha'agosi kol-hayyom

When I kept silence, my bones wore away through my groaning all the day long.

Mizmor 032, Verse 004

כִּ֤י ׀ יוֹמָ֣ם וָלַיְלָה֮ תִּכְבַּ֥ד עָלַ֗י יָ֫דֶ֥ךָ נֶהְפַּ֥ךְ לְשַׁדִּ֑י בְּחַרְבֹ֖נֵי קַ֣יִץ סֶֽלָה

Ki  yomom volayloh tichbad olai yodecho nehpach leshaddi becharvonei kayitz seloh

For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was turned into the droughts of summer. Selah.

Mizmor 032, Verse 005

חַטָּאתִ֨י אוֹדִ֪יעֲךָ֡ וַעֲ֘וֺנִ֤י לֹֽא־כִסִּ֗יתִי אָמַ֗רְתִּי אוֹדֶ֤ה עֲלֵ֣י פְ֭שָׁעַי לַיהֹוָ֑ה וְאַתָּ֨ה נָ֘שָׂ֤אתָ עֲוֺ֖ן חַטָּאתִ֣י סֶֽלָה

Chattosi odi'acho va'avoni lo-chissisi omarti odeh alei fesho'ai ladonai ve'attoh nososo avon chattosi seloh

I acknowledged my sin to You; I did not cover up my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah.

Mizmor 032, Verse 006

עַל־זֹ֡את יִתְפַּלֵּ֬ל כׇּל־חָסִ֨יד ׀ אֵלֶיךָ֮ לְעֵ֢ת מְ֫צֹ֥א רַ֗ק לְ֭שֵׁטֶף מַ֣יִם רַבִּ֑ים אֵ֝לָ֗יו לֹ֣א יַגִּֽיעוּ

Al-zos yispalleil kol-chosid  eileicho le'eis metzo rak lesheitef mayim rabbim eilov lo yaggi'u

For this let every one that is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely, when the great waters overflow, they will not reach him.
