וַ֭אֲנִי אָמַ֣רְתִּי בְשַׁלְוִ֑י בַּל־אֶמּ֥וֹט לְעוֹלָֽם
Va'ani omarti veshalvi bal-emmot le'olom
And I said in my tranquility, "I will never falter."
יְֽהֹוָ֗ה בִּרְצוֹנְךָ֮ הֶעֱמַ֢דְתָּה לְֽהַרְרִ֫י־עֹ֥ז הִסְתַּ֥רְתָּ פָנֶ֗יךָ הָיִ֥יתִי נִבְהָֽל
Adonai birtzonecho he'emadtoh leharri-oz histarto foneicho hoyisi nivhol
O LORD, by Your favor You made [me] firm as a mighty mountain. When You hid Your face, I was terrified.
אֵלֶ֣יךָ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֶקְרָ֑א וְאֶל־אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י אֶתְחַנָּֽן
Eileicho adonai ekro ve'el-adonai eschannon
To You, O LORD, I called, to my Master I made appeal,
מַה־בֶּ֥צַע בְּדָמִי֮ בְּרִדְתִּ֢י אֶ֫ל־שָׁ֥חַת הֲיוֹדְךָ֥ עָפָ֑ר הֲיַגִּ֥יד אֲמִתֶּֽךָ
Mah-betza bedomi beridti el-shochas hayodecho ofor hayaggid amittecho
"What gain is there in my blood, when i go down to the pit? Will dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth?
שְׁמַע־יְהֹוָ֥ה וְחׇנֵּ֑נִי יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה הֱֽיֵה־עֹזֵ֥ר לִֽי
Shema-adonai vechonneini adonai heyeih-ozeir li
Hear, O LORD, and have mercy on me; O LORD, be my helper!”
הָפַ֣כְתָּ מִסְפְּדִי֮ לְמָח֢וֹל לִ֥֫י פִּתַּ֥חְתָּ שַׂקִּ֑י וַֽתְּאַזְּרֵ֥נִי שִׂמְחָֽה
Hofachto mispedi lemochol li pittachto sakki vatte'azzereini simchoh
You turned my mourning into dancing for me; You loosened my sackcloth and girded me with joy.
