One thing I ask of the LORD, only that do I seek: to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His Temple.
1.....(27.5)
One thing I ask of the LORD...
...David asked one thing of the LORD, but king Solomon asked two things, for he said: "I ask two [things] of You; do not withhold them from me before I die. Distance falsehood and the lying word from me; give me neither poverty nor wealth; provide me my allotted bread, lest I become sated and deny, and I say, 'Who is the LORD?' And lest I become impoverished and steal, and profane the name of my God." (Mishlei - Proverbs 30:7-9)

...and to visit His Temple every morning.
To appear there every morning. Dunash (Teshuvoth Dunash, p. 53) explained in this manner. Menachem (Machbereth Menachem, p. 47) however associated it with (Lev. 27:33), “He shall not inquire (יבקר) ,” but Dunash interpreted it as an expression of “morning” (בקר).
[NOTE:
The word with a Root - [בקר]
can be read as -
BAQAR - to inquire, seek
OR
BOQER - morning,
So different authors interpret this part of the verse differently.

...to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life...
It cannot mean a physical dwelling in the actual House of the Lord. Even the priests were not constantly in the Temple. The phrase rather describes that conception of life and of the fulfillment of its duties which can make of any place a Divine sanctuary...
For even the House of God fulfills its purpose only if all our lives outside the Temple walls will be sanctified by the understanding, purity and devotion taught within the Sanctuary, so that the presence of God will be sought not only in the Temple but, instead, will be among us and with us wherever we go.
