אֱ֭לֹהִים שׁוֹפֵ֣ט צַדִּ֑יק וְ֝אֵ֗ל זֹעֵ֥ם בְּכׇל־יֽוֹם

ʾelohiym shofeyt tzaddiyk veʾeyl zoʿeym bechol–yom

God is a righteous judge, and God is incensed every day.

MIDRASH TEHILLIM

1.....(7.9)
In the Mishna, Rabbi Simeon son of Gamaliel declared, Ever since the Temple was destroyed, no day is without its evidence of God's anger.
The dew of daily blessings comes down no more, so that the tang of fruit as well as its juices are gone.
The sages declared, Fornication and witchcraft have done for all blessings. All this since the Temple was destroyed.
Rabbi Zeera said, Although God's anger is renewed every day, yet each of His precious shows of anger continues. When rabbi Akha asked, If this is so, by what merit do we remain alive? Rabbi Zeera replied, By the merit of the priestly benediction.

...a God that is provoked every day
He judges the righteous, and He judges him who provokes God every day, when he repents not of his wickedness.
And how was Saul provoking God? Because he was despising God's work and word, for he knew that David had been anointed as king by the command of God to succeed him, and (yet) he pursued him every day to kill him. You see he was planning every day to bring God's word to naught. And, moreover, David was innocent and had not sinned against him, and he wished to shed innocent blood. And, further, because he had sworn solemnly that he would not slay him. And for all these reasons it was right that He (God) should be spoken of as provoked.

Rabbi HIRSCH

1.
It is said here, that God is a righteous Judge and that He, Who is the source of all forces and Who holds them all in His hands, makes His indignation felt each day. God will not wait until that great day of judgment when all evil shall wither before His rage to make the wicked, false man feel the force of His indignation. He will let the man of evil sense His displeasure even now. The wicked man will sense it concretely each day that God is displeased with him, that he is not upon the right path, even if it is only the uneasiness, the voice of his conscience, that voice of God within man, that will trouble him. The wicked man feels it each day that he lacks God's favor.
