Mizmor 010

לָמָ֣ה יְ֭הֹוָה תַּֽעֲמֹ֣ד בְּרָח֑וֹק תַּ֝עְלִ֗ים לְעִתּ֥וֹת בַּצָּרָֽה

lomo ʾadoonoy taʿamod berochok taʿliym leʿittos batzoro

Why, O LORD, do You stand afar off, and hide Your presence in times of trouble?

בְּגַאֲוַ֣ת רָ֭שָׁע יִדְלַ֣ק עָנִ֑י יִתָּֽפְשׂ֓וּ ׀ בִּמְזִמּ֖וֹת ז֣וּ חָשָֽׁבוּ

begaʾavas roshoʿ yidlak ʿoniy yittofesu bimzimmos zu choshovu

The wicked in his arrogance pursues the poor, "O let them be caught in the plots they have devised!"

Mizmor 010, Verse 003

כִּֽי־הִלֵּ֣ל רָ֭שָׁע עַל־תַּאֲוַ֣ת נַפְשׁ֑וֹ וּבֹצֵ֥עַ בֵּ֝רֵ֗ךְ נִ֘אֵ֥ץ ׀ יְהֹוָֽה

kiyhilleyl roshoʿ ʿal–ttaʾavas nafsho uvotzeyaʿ beyreych niʾeytzʾadoonoy

For if a lawless man gives praise for his heart's desire, or a man of greed says a blessing, he has mocked the LORD.

Mizmor 010, Verse 004

רָשָׁ֗ע כְּגֹ֣בַהּ אַ֭פּוֹ בַּל־יִדְרֹ֑שׁ אֵ֥ין אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים כׇּל־מְזִמּוֹתָֽיו

roshoʿ kegovahh ʾappo bal–yidrosh ʾeyn ʾelohiym kol–mzimmosoyv

The wicked, in the pride of his countenance, [says]: 'He will not seek'; all his thoughts are: 'There is no God.'

Mizmor 010, Verse 005

יָ֘חִ֤ילוּ דְרָכָ֨ו ׀ בְּכׇל־עֵ֗ת מָר֣וֹם מִ֭שְׁפָּטֶיךָ מִנֶּגְדּ֑וֹ כׇּל־צ֝וֹרְרָ֗יו יָפִ֥יחַ בָּהֶֽם

yochiylu derochov bechol–ʿeys morom mishpoteycho minnegdo kol–tzoreroyv yofiyach bohem

His ways prosper at all times; Your judgments are far beyond him; he snorts at all his adversaries.

Mizmor 010, Verse 006

אָמַ֣ר בְּ֭לִבּוֹ בַּל־אֶמּ֑וֹט לְדֹ֥ר וָ֝דֹ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־בְרָֽע

ʾomar belibbo bal–ʾemmot ledor vodor ʾasher loveroʿ

He says in his heart, “I shall not be shaken; for all generations I shall never be in trouble."
