שׁוּבָ֣ה יְ֭הֹוָה חַלְּצָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י ה֝וֹשִׁיעֵ֗נִי לְמַ֣עַן חַסְדֶּֽךָ

shuvo ʾadoonoy challetzo nafshiy hoshiyʿeyniy lemaʿan chasdecho

O LORD, turn! Rescue my soul! Save me for Your mercy's sake.

RASHI

Return, O Lord: from Your anger.
Rescue my soul: from my illness.

Save me for Your mercy's sake.

[חָלַץ] (chalats)
is “to loosen” and extricate something from its bonds.
[ה֝וֹשִׁיעֵ֗נִי] (hoshiyʿeyniy)
[יָשַׁע] (yasha)
related to [ישה]
to root of [יש] (the expression of actual existence)
is the highest degree of the essence of existence given by God.
[ה֝וֹשִׁיעֵ֗] is the deliverance of an existence, of a life that was endangered.
